Traversing West Tiger Mountain, Washington, Summits 1, 2, and 3

A traverse of the three summits of West Tiger Mountain 1, 2, and 3 in November 2009.  West Tiger 3 is a very beautiful, natural, open summit.  West Tiger 2 has some ugly radio towers and utility buildings, best to just pass by quickly.  West Tiger 1, the highest of the summits, has some very nice views, a bench, and a metal emergency shelter/hut, and faces a ravine that sometimes funnels the wind, making it a very windy spot.  The traverse makes a very nice day trip on a cold winter day.  The route followed the cable line trail to West Tiger 3, then traverse by trail to West Tiger 2, then follow the gated access roads to West Tiger 1.  Overall around 2,500 vertical feet of gain with car to car time of three hours.

Overall, a very nice trip, incredibly close to Bellevue and the eastside, almost nobody there on a cold winter day.
